Refund policy

A refund should leave a clear trail.

The Signal.OS Core Assessment is free, included with your account -- there is no purchase and nothing to refund. See below for what applies once membership billing goes live.

Core Assessment: free, nothing to refund

The Core Assessment is included with your account at no charge. There is no purchase, so there is no refund rule for it.

Provider event is authority

Your order changes only after the payment provider confirms the charge, refund amount, currency, and time.

Economics reverse together

A refund or lost dispute reverses the matching entitlement, referral share, provider share, and other allocations for that same purchase, and nothing else.

1. The Signal.OS Core Assessment (free, included with your account)

No purchase, no refund rule needed

The Core Assessment is not a paid product. It is a core onboarding step included with every account at no charge — nothing to buy, nothing to refund.

This is the complete, final state for the Core Assessment. It is not a placeholder, and it is not a temporary promotion.

2. Membership (not live yet)

General rule, once membership billing turns on

Not live yet. Membership checkout is switched off today: no membership charge exists to refund.

When membership billing goes live, the rule is: cancel any time and you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for — no refund for the unused remainder of a current period, no charge for a period you cancel before it starts. A workshop or add-on purchased separately from membership follows whatever refund terms are shown on that specific offer at checkout.

3. How to request one

A person should always know what happened

  1. Email [email protected] or use Support with your order reference and the reason.
  2. You'll get a reply confirming we received the request, normally within 2 business days.
  3. If it qualifies under the rule above, we process it right away. If it doesn't, we'll say why and what your options are.
  4. Once we submit a refund to the payment provider, your bank or card statement can take several additional business days to show it — that part is outside our control.
4. Visible states

Do not collapse different outcomes into one label

StateWhat it meansWhat it does not mean
Request receivedWe recorded your request and sent a receipt. The refund is approved or money has moved.
Approved, provider pendingWe approved it and sent the refund to the payment provider.Your bank or card statement already shows the credit.
RefundedThe payment provider confirmed the refund and your order shows it.Any other account data was deleted.
DeniedThe request didn't qualify under the rule above, with the reason explained. You have no separate rights under the law that applies to you.
5. Access after a refund

Money and access reconcile

A refund on a paid purchase (a course, workshop, or membership) removes access to that specific item only. It does not close your account, delete your free Signal Integrity Map, or affect your free Core Assessment or any other purchase.

6. Disputes and chargebacks

Talk to us first

If something's wrong with a charge, email us before filing a dispute with your bank or card company — most issues resolve faster that way. If a dispute is filed, your order may be placed under review while we respond to the payment provider with the relevant order and delivery records.

7. Timing and payment method

We can confirm our side, not your bank's posting time

We process approved refunds to the original payment method within 2 business days of approval. From there, how long it takes to show up on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer, typically 3-10 business days.
