Terms of use

Clear rules before anyone is asked to agree.

These terms explain the account, education, community, course, membership, and purchase relationship in plain English. They are the live agreement you accept by using the platform or making a purchase.

What this is

An educational platform with public material, accounts, community spaces, courses, memberships, and the Signal.OS assessment experience, including the free Signal.OS Core Assessment.

What this is not

The platform is not a hospital, emergency service, medical practice, pharmacy, or substitute for care from a licensed professional.

What controls access

Your signed-in account controls course, room, membership, and Core Assessment access. A screenshot, old email, or browser value does not grant paid access.

1. Scope and who can use this

Which experiences these terms cover

These terms cover thewayin.me, its account and community areas, courses sold or fulfilled by the platform, memberships, the Signal.OS Core Assessment, and platform-operated tools that link back to these terms. Signal.OS can have additional consent, privacy, safety, and data rules because it handles a separate personalized research and education experience.

A licensed provider, coach, course author, laboratory, payment provider, or other outside service may have separate terms for its own work. A role label does not create a provider-patient relationship by itself.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a purchase. We do not knowingly offer accounts to anyone younger, and we don't currently support guardian-managed accounts.

2. Education and safety

Use information as information

Educational purpose

Articles, discussions, courses, tools, opinions, research summaries, anecdotes, personal theories, and the Core Assessment report are for education. They can help a person ask better questions. They do not diagnose, prescribe, guarantee an outcome, or replace individualized medical care.

Urgent situations

Do not use the site or Signal.OS for an emergency. Use local emergency services or an appropriate licensed professional when urgent help is needed.

Personal protocols

A coach or provider may discuss research, experience, opinions, and possible protocols within the rules of their role. Users remain responsible for deciding whether to involve a qualified professional.

3. Accounts

One person, one accountable session

  • Provide information you are allowed to provide and keep account details reasonably current.
  • Protect sign-in links, passwords, devices, and active sessions. Report suspected unauthorized access through Support.
  • Do not use another person's account, impersonate a role, bypass access controls, scrape private areas, or test security without written permission.
  • We may sign you out or deny access when identity, security, or access checks fail.
  • You must be 18 or older, as stated above.
4. Community and provider roles

Speak honestly and respect the room

Community members, coaches, providers, course authors, moderators, and AI-assisted tools must be labeled by their current role. No one may claim credentials, standing, sponsorship, results, or platform approval the system does not prove.

We may remove content or restrict an account for violating this section at our discretion, and will tell you why when we do.

5. Purchases: memberships and the free Core Assessment

The final checkout controls the purchase

The Signal.OS Core Assessment is free, included with your account — it is not a purchase and has no charge to refund. Membership is a recurring subscription;

membership checkout is not live yet
— no membership charge exists in any account today.

Before payment, checkout shows the item, price, currency, tax treatment, total, and what access it unlocks. Payment-card details stay with our payment provider (Stripe); we don't see or store your card number. Access changes only after the payment provider confirms the charge — a redirect or pending-payment screen alone is not proof of a completed purchase.

Billing, cancellation, and refund rules are in the linked billing and cancellation and refunds pages and the exact offer shown at checkout. If those ever conflict, the terms shown at your actual checkout control that purchase.

6. Content and intellectual property

Who owns what

Everything we publish — articles, courses, the Core Assessment, its report format and underlying model, community platform code, and branding — belongs to SNRG Consulting Inc. or its licensors. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial education. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or use it to build a competing product.

When you post content (community posts, coach notes, forum replies), you keep ownership of it, but you give us a license to store, display, moderate, back up, and show it to the audience you posted it for, for as long as your account exists or the content remains posted. If you delete a post or your account, we remove it from public display; we may keep a backup copy for a reasonable period for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Post only content you created or have the right to share. We can remove content that infringes someone else's rights.

7. Changes, suspension, and ending access

Important changes get clear notice

We may change features for safety, security, legal, or product reasons. A change that materially affects price, renewal, or your access gets notice before it applies to you, and continuing to use the platform after that notice means you accept the change.

We may suspend or terminate an account for violating these terms, security risk, or fraud, with notice where practical. If we terminate your account for cause, paid purchases already delivered are not refunded; anything not yet delivered is refunded per our refund policy. Your Core Assessment report, being free, is not affected by that rule either way. You can close your own account any time from Your Account.

8. Reliability and legal limits

Reliability and responsibility

We work to keep the platform accurate and available, and we'll fix real errors we're responsible for. That said, the platform and everything on it — including the Core Assessment and its report — are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't guarantee the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your expectations.

To the fullest extent the law allows, SNRG Consulting Inc.'s total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited (for example, in some places, liability for gross negligence).

These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the laws of the state where SNRG Consulting Inc. is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.

9. Acceptance

Using the platform means you accept these terms

Creating an account, or making a purchase, means you accept these terms as they read at that time. We'll date changes here so you can see when something last changed.
